Cool things to do while at Kawama in Key Largo
WALKING DISTANCE
- Fishing at the point. (Not in the lagoon)
Fishing poles are in a bucket on the porch (extras you can use at E6) - Kayaking! Kayaks are on the side of the building outside of E6 for renters at E5, E6 and C2.
- Bicycling! Bicycles are on the porch and the door combination also works on the combination lock for the bicycles.
- Snorkeling in the lagoon – it goes down to 40’ deep and there are no dangerous creatures to worry about.

See the Key Deer
This is best to do on your drive to Key West as it’s in Big Pine Key nearly 2 hours away… Set your GPS for “No Name Pub”. Once you leave US1, drive slowly as Key Deer are everywhere… best time to see them is twilight or after the hot midday sun.
